We received our Sundream S3 Pergola, and we absolutely love it! It provides shade and cover from the rain. We now spend mornings and evenings on our porch when we previously were unable to use this space. With the addition of the screens, it’s as if we have a whole new room to our house. Would highly recommend.
The set up was a bit strenuous, and our contractor needed more time than expected to put it together. That said, he was equally as impressed with its quality and capabilities!
Thanks to Axel at customer service for helping to send replacement screws for some louvers with bad taps. Now I am just waiting on some touch-up paint to cover up some minor scratches and everything will look perfect.
One suggestion for future designs is to include easier ways to add electrical outlets to the pergola. I had to kludge together a junction box and route electrical cable and drill into the columns to add one.
We purchased the free standing 10x10 Sundream to provide shade and privacy on our south facing deck. There were a few frustrating incidences along the way with tracking shipping , a missing box and then some missing parts. The customer response from Pergolux customer service was outstanding. Box was traced, parts were shipped overnight by UPS and follow up was wonderful. Installation took 7 hrs with 2 guys and , with the help they got helping them through a couple tricky areas from customer support, the pergola is up, better than we ever imagined and is superior in quality . We absolutely love it and the support we got from Pergolux. I submitted earlier reviews that weren’t 5 star but have to say that after completion I’m completely satisfied with this investment . 5 star plus!
Our pergolas has changed the way we live at our lake house in Wisconsin. Although we spend a lot of time in the sunshine on the water, we were lacking a shady space to relax. The side benefit of NOT having to cover of patio furniture or take in the cushions when it rains is amazing. My 66 year old retired engineer husband pretty much assembled our two side-by-side 10x10 house-mounted pergolas by him self. He was in no rush, took his time and felt quite accomplished when finished. They are perfect! We did install a strip of heavy duty weather stripping when the pergola attaches to the house, the entire 20’ length, to stop the little bit of water dripping that happened when it rained. He also drilled a hole through and clamped the two pergolas tightly together at the middle front, where the 2 pergolas meet to close the tiny gap. The only thing we had to do (per instructions from Pergolux) to install side-by-side was cut the base plate so they would fit tight on the ground. Easy-breezy. The project is so amazing! We are thrilled with the quality, customer service and have recommended to many friends and neighbors.
We just got our pergola installed a week ago and are already using it all the time. It has withstood some severe storms and winds and keeps everything dry underneath. It has a luxurious feel and look to it too. The only issue was that we wish we knew you could only wall mount from the long side before we ordered, as now we will need to extend our patio further out. If you want the long side perpendicular to the house, you would need 2 smaller pergolas: one wall-mounted and one free standing. Also, keep in mind that if the top of your window/door trim is more than 91" from the bottom, you will need concrete pillars at the base of the columns to raise them and this also costs extra for installation (and to make look prettier afterward). We got ours installed through ETI installation and despite some hiccups can't imagine having done it ourselves or by anyone who wasn't familiar with Pergolux products.

Works like a dream in all weather. Did not leak during recent rain storm. Customer service was excellent - pre and post purchase.
The pergola came quickly and was delivered in perfect condition. My husband and I built it together over a couple of days and it went very smoothly. It seems quite sturdy and has withstood some pretty high winds. We got the Sundream with electric louvers and LED lights. The LED lights are the perfect amount of illumination for an evening out with friends. It's a very soft, non-glaring light. We enjoyed it for a few weeks before it got cold and can't wait to get back out there. We bought 2 screens with it as well and they function smoothly with a bit of self-retracting action. We wish we had bought a 3rd screen. We got a free heater but haven't been able to use it yet as it blew a breaker when we first plugged it in. It works fine in a 20 amp plug but the one near the pergola is only 15 amp. I highly recommend this pergola for ease of build, its beauty, cost and quality.
