This is how you customize your PERGOLUX pergola!

PERGOLUX pergola are available in standard sizes of 10' x 10', 10' x 13', 13' x 13', and 13' x 19'. If you’d like a size different from these, your pergola can also be easily customized to your specifications.
Adjustment of Height
To change the height of your pergola, the columns need to be trimmed. Made of aluminum, the columns are relatively soft, making them easy to cut with a Mitter saw and wood blade if done slowly. You can also use an angle grinder or hacksaw.
After cutting, it’s recommended to cover the cut surface with silicone or spray it with zinc coating to prevent oxidation over time.
Once the height is adjusted, you’ll need to thread new holes for the base plate .Threading tools can be found at most hardware stores.
Adjustment of Width
If you want to customize the width of your pergola, this is done lengthwise. The slats are spaced every 4 3/4” , allowing you to cut the beams between them. Use a miter saw with a wood blade, or an angle grinder or hacksaw , cutting slowly for best results.
After trimming the beam, you’ll also need to cut the top rail and gutters to match the new width. Finally, drill new holes in the beam for proper fastening.
Warranty for Customization
Customizing your pergola does not void the overall pergola warranty. However, the warranty for any parts you modify will no longer apply.
Adjustment of Width
When adjusting the width, you will no longer be able to use PERGOLUX Screens with your pergola.
