Pergolas

A pergola traditionally means a free-standing structure covered with plants. In modern times, the word "pergola" is used more freely and a pergola is often described as a structure consisting of four columns with beams on top.

In most countries, a pergola is something that is mainly used for sun shade.

In the US, the pergola is becoming the next ‘must-have' item for your outdoor space.

It immediately enhances any backyard, pool, patio, or deck.

At PERGOLUX, we have created a pergola with a louvered roof with slats that can open and close. We have added in a water drainage system to keep you dry. And we have designed all of the accessories needed to you enjoy your pergola, regardless of the weather.
Delivery Times

When our products are in stock it will take 5-15 days until your product is on your doorstep. This depends on out stock levels for your region. Please message us using the chat or contact us via email and we will let you know when you can expect your delivery.

The pergola is delivered via 3PL logistics companies. If there is an arrival where you will have the pergola delivered, They will drive the pergola all the way to your home. You will be contacted when your product is on the way to agree a delivery time. The pergola will be delivered in packages on a pallet, of approx. 100-120 lb per package. It is important that you confirm a delivery time when you have the opportunity to be present to help unload the packages.
Payment

With us you can pay by card, Apple Pay, Google pay or with an invoice.

We offer financing options through a trusted third party firm called Affirm, including 0% interest plans. You can select this option at checkout.

Unfortunately, we don't offer price matching for past orders. This is because our sales reflect real-time factors like inventory, seasonality, and supplier costs, which can fluctuate.

Technical

Yes! By using PERGOLUX Screens you can close them to mitigate the wind. You can also install PERGOLUX wooden slat wall to reduce wind. Due to spaces between the slats, this is not windproof but will reduce the amount of wind considerably.

The roof is designed for 10-12 lb/sqft. and can therefore withstand a lot of snow. If it snows more than this, the slats should be opened so that the snow falls through.

The pergola has been tested in strong winds, but we always recommend leaving the slats open when the pergola is not in use so that the pergola does not become a large wind trap and thus damaged by the wind.

The slats on the roof are overlapping and are made so that the water flows down into a rain gutter on the beams of the pergola that leads the columns so that the water runs outside of the pergola.
Assembly

PERGOLUX Pergola comes in standard sizes 10'x10', 10'x13', 13'x13' and 13'x19'. If you want a different size than this, the pergola can also be easily adapted.

It is fine to attach extra equipment to the frame of the pergola to give it a more personal touch, but such adjustments are made at your own risk (feel free to ask us for guidance). 

For example, if you need to attach a heat lamp, this can be screwed to the beam at the top. We recommend that self-drilling aluminum screws are used to prevent the screw from corroding.

We normally calculate 3-5 hours for 2 people to mount the pergola, but this of course varies greatly from person to person. We normally calculate 1 hour to mount a screen or a wooden slat wall to the pergola after the pergola has been set up.

There must be a solid surface under the pergola so that the pergola can be screwed to the surface. A solid surface can be a patio made of wood or concrete.

Absolutely not! We have prepared a good installation guide so that you can easily assemble it yourself. We strongly recommend to have 2 people to mount the pergola. If you do not want / are not able to assemble the pergola yourself, we recommend that you contact a craftsman near you.

We are currently in the process of implementation a tailor-made solution for customisable sizing.PERGOLUX Pergola and Skydance models come in our standard sizes 10'x10', 10'x13' 13'x13; and 13'x19'. The Sundream comes in 10'x10' and 10'x13'. While we do not create a truly customized size, there are a few ways to modify your pergola.For a Larger Pergola:Many of our customers will combine pergolas to achieve the dimensions they are looking for.Adjustment of Height:Use a suitable saw and cut the columns to the correct height. Then you have to drill 4 new holes for the column base. When the columns have been cut, we recommend that the end where it has been cut is covered with silicone or varnish.Adjustment of Width:If you want to adjust the width of the pergola, this can be done lengthwise. The slats are placed every 12 cm and you can therefore easily cut the beams between each of the slats. When the beam has been cut, you must also cut a groove at the top and the rain gutters to the same length. This does take skilled craftsmanship.As always, call us at 959-465-6040 to help answer your questions!
Maintenance

A PERGOLUX pergola is basically a maintenance-free product. We still recommend lubricating all moving parts twice a year in early spring and before the winter.

The pergola's building material is powder-coated aluminum. This means that the product can withstand being outside in the winter. It will not be damaged by normal cold and heat.

Game Changer

We received our Sundream S3 Pergola, and we absolutely love it! It provides shade and cover from the rain. We now spend mornings and evenings on our porch when we previously were unable to use this space. With the addition of the screens, it’s as if we have a whole new room to our house. Would highly recommend.

The set up was a bit strenuous, and our contractor needed more time than expected to put it together. That said, he was equally as impressed with its quality and capabilities!

Good design and service!

Thanks to Axel at customer service for helping to send replacement screws for some louvers with bad taps. Now I am just waiting on some touch-up paint to cover up some minor scratches and everything will look perfect.
One suggestion for future designs is to include easier ways to add electrical outlets to the pergola. I had to kludge together a junction box and route electrical cable and drill into the columns to add one.

Pergolux pergola

We purchased the free standing 10x10 Sundream to provide shade and privacy on our south facing deck. There were a few frustrating incidences along the way with tracking shipping , a missing box and then some missing parts. The customer response from Pergolux customer service was outstanding. Box was traced, parts were shipped overnight by UPS and follow up was wonderful. Installation took 7 hrs with 2 guys and , with the help they got helping them through a couple tricky areas from customer support, the pergola is up, better than we ever imagined and is superior in quality . We absolutely love it and the support we got from Pergolux. I submitted earlier reviews that weren’t 5 star but have to say that after completion I’m completely satisfied with this investment . 5 star plus!

Changed the way we live at our lake house!

Our pergolas has changed the way we live at our lake house in Wisconsin. Although we spend a lot of time in the sunshine on the water, we were lacking a shady space to relax. The side benefit of NOT having to cover of patio furniture or take in the cushions when it rains is amazing. My 66 year old retired engineer husband pretty much assembled our two side-by-side 10x10 house-mounted pergolas by him self. He was in no rush, took his time and felt quite accomplished when finished. They are perfect! We did install a strip of heavy duty weather stripping when the pergola attaches to the house, the entire 20’ length, to stop the little bit of water dripping that happened when it rained. He also drilled a hole through and clamped the two pergolas tightly together at the middle front, where the 2 pergolas meet to close the tiny gap. The only thing we had to do (per instructions from Pergolux) to install side-by-side was cut the base plate so they would fit tight on the ground. Easy-breezy. The project is so amazing! We are thrilled with the quality, customer service and have recommended to many friends and neighbors.

Sturdy and luxurious but things we wish we knew

We just got our pergola installed a week ago and are already using it all the time. It has withstood some severe storms and winds and keeps everything dry underneath. It has a luxurious feel and look to it too. The only issue was that we wish we knew you could only wall mount from the long side before we ordered, as now we will need to extend our patio further out. If you want the long side perpendicular to the house, you would need 2 smaller pergolas: one wall-mounted and one free standing. Also, keep in mind that if the top of your window/door trim is more than 91" from the bottom, you will need concrete pillars at the base of the columns to raise them and this also costs extra for installation (and to make look prettier afterward). We got ours installed through ETI installation and despite some hiccups can't imagine having done it ourselves or by anyone who wasn't familiar with Pergolux products.

We LOVE our pergola!

The pergola came quickly and was delivered in perfect condition. My husband and I built it together over a couple of days and it went very smoothly. It seems quite sturdy and has withstood some pretty high winds. We got the Sundream with electric louvers and LED lights. The LED lights are the perfect amount of illumination for an evening out with friends. It's a very soft, non-glaring light. We enjoyed it for a few weeks before it got cold and can't wait to get back out there. We bought 2 screens with it as well and they function smoothly with a bit of self-retracting action. We wish we had bought a 3rd screen. We got a free heater but haven't been able to use it yet as it blew a breaker when we first plugged it in. It works fine in a 20 amp plug but the one near the pergola is only 15 amp. I highly recommend this pergola for ease of build, its beauty, cost and quality.
